Well, with Eastern’s new Dealership Lending Program, you can get the best of both worlds. The convenience of one-stop purchase and finance of your new or used vehicle, plus the security of knowing you’re getting an Eastern loan you can afford and trust.
Car buying and financing, easier than ever
Our new Dealership Lending Program also offers another benefit—it makes the buying process a whole lot easier.
Traditionally, when you buy a car, negotiating the final deal can be a little imposing. Sometimes, the financing and price of the car can be rolled together, and unless you’re a financial whiz, it can be difficult to know exactly what you’re getting. Are you getting the best rate for your long-term financial well-being? Are you getting the best terms? Just how much are you paying for the car? Who is the loan through…do they have your best interests in mind?
With an Eastern loan, the financing now is removed from the equation, so you can negotiate the price and trade-in straight away, apples to apples. You’ll know exactly what you’re paying for the car, and exactly what you’re paying for the financing. And since it’s from Eastern, you know we’re on your side.
Using our Dealership Lending Program is easy. Just visit a participating dealer, find the vehicle you want, then let them know you’d like to finance it with a loan from Eastern. They’ll fax your loan application to us, and once it’s approved, you can sign on the dotted line at the dealership without having to make a trip to the credit union.
Any Eastern member can take advantage of this program automatically. If you have a friend or family member who would like to get an Eastern loan, they’ll simply have to meet our membership eligibility requirements.
