E-Statements
We expect that most of you don’t give much thought to your account statements, but maybe you should.
Since statements come through the mail, they can be taken from your mailbox by bad guys looking to steal your personal information. Names, addresses, account numbers…they’re all on there.
Also, statements take resources to print and mail…paper, envelopes, postage. And it can take days from the time the statement information is finalized for the month until you’ve received it in your mailbox.

Yes! E-Statements, new from Eastern. With E-Statements you receive an email that tells you that the account statements are available. Then simply log into your Home Banking account and retrieve your statement. No paper, no postage cost to the credit union, no chance for bad guys to steal statements from your mailbox.
E-Statements offer some additional benefits. Since they’re online, you can refer to them from any Internet- connected computer. So if you’re at work and need to check something, just login to Home Banking and look at your statement. Plus, you can store them on your computer instead of having to file them in a shoe box, or filing cabinet or desk drawer. That could save a lot of clutter!
To sign up for E-Statements, simply login to your Home Banking home banking account, and click the E-Statements link. If you’re not yet using Home Banking, this might be just the excuse you needed to give it a try. Just click the link above to get started!
