Earn up to $30 when you switch to Eastern
Switching to Eastern is easy. First, we'll spot you your first book of 12 checks...just to get you started. Then, we'll sweeten the deal by buying your old checks and debit card from your old bank. Just bring them to us when you open your account, and we'll pay you $10 for the debit card, and $2.50 per pad of checks up to $20.
Avoid overdrafts!
It happens to everyone...sometimes you may write a check for more money than you have in your account. For those times, we offer two ways to avoid bounced checks, and the embarrassment that comes with them.
- Overdraft Protection. This line of credit loan automatically covers overdrafts on your checking account, with a maximum limit of $2000. Apply here
- Overdraft Privilege. This coverage is automatically added to your checking account and requires no application. For a $25 fee per item, Overdraft Privilege will cover most overdrafts up to a total of $300, with the requirement that you bring your account into positive balance within 90 days. Find out more here
